A Suicide Prevention Coalition is a community of citizens
from diverse backgrounds who are united in the resolve to save lives.
Concerned citizen(s) come together with the purpose of preventing suicide by sharing ideas and creating a resource network for the local community. By inviting concerned agencies, organizations, and individuals who work in the areas of suicide prevention, intervention, and post-vention to join you.
Attend KSPG quarterly meetings that united the network of organizations and individuals across the Commonwealth of Kentucky to ensure everyone in communities has access to available resources, and educational opportunities.
The coalition purpose is to help coordinate strategies to educate and increase awareness that suicide is a public health problem, not a private shame in the local community.
KSPG will assist you with handouts, training opportunities and notice of events in your area where your group can distribute suicide prevention information and to ask others to join you.
